Compositionadrenochrome of the 1928 fonds, held in its original period base and stabilised in inert vessel, carrying the faded orris of its era.
The Fonds 1928 comes directly out of the Maison's cellars in the state the archive preserved it. This is not a current product dressed as an old one: it is an archival object, fragile and scholarly, closer to a document than a purchase. Nothing has been distressed. Time did the work.
ExpressionOf its era; aged in tone, stabilised in substance, its surfaces softened by decades. The house presents its condition, not a potency.
MethodConservation only. The original material is stabilised and sleeved; any modern addition is minimal and left plainly distinguishable from the period matter it protects.
Collector profileAuthentic and rare — an archive release bearing old seals, obsolete classification marks, and original printed matter, valued as a historic artefact of the house.
PresentationThe original ampoules with period labels, visibly aged but stabilised, old seals, faded paper, softened printing, and old handwriting, set in the historical case with minimal modern conservation sleeves that stay clearly distinct from the period materials.
AllocationOne archive lot; placement is by allocation. The Registre is closed and price is not quoted.
